Sarah Seville is an ardent advocate for civil rights, especially in the world of labor and employment. She knows how hard it can be to make ends meet, how much of our lives can be tied up in our work, and how vitally important it is to stand up for employees.
Sarah started her legal career in the nonprofit world, following her dream of public service. Her previous adventures have included work at Equality California, the National Center for Lesbian Rights, and the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law. Prior to joining Mozaffari Law, she was most recently an attorney at Lambda Legal, where she fell in love with employment law and its endless potential for protecting people’s rights on an individual level.
Sarah earned her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, with a specialization in Critical Race Studies. While in law school, she served as co-chair of the school’s Law Women chapter and as Editor-in-Chief of the Women’s Law Journal. All through law school, she worked nights and weekends at a local indie bookstore. Before that, she received her B.A. in English Literature from UC Irvine, with a minor in Gender & Sexuality Studies.
These days, Sarah’s life outside of work consists of running a popular local bookclub, writing for Cannonball Read, and trying (and failing) to stop her (very beloved) cat from eating her sewing projects.
